Description

Learning Luminous Language is a hypothetical event, hosted by the Bohart Museum of Entomology, educating and enlightening its guests of the firefly’s communication, taxonomy, and their anatomy. The firefly is considered to be one of the most mysterious insects, as they are difficult to identify because of their similar appearances in species. But, each firefly has a different flash pattern in specific temperature, helping the entomologist to identify the firefly.

Learning becomes engaging and enlightening when the content can be experienced, becomes personal, and proves relevant. To bridge the gap between the world of humans and fireflies, the Learning Luminous Language concept is themed around the world of fireflies and dives into an immersive concept; allowing the audience to experience and explore the bespoke unique features and characteristics of a firefly.
